When Jennifer Nish invited me to her birthday party, I was more than happy to say yes, especially when she'd chosen a sushi place as her location. Yokohama Sushi in downtown Lawrence, though boasting great decor, is probably one of my least favorite sushi places in Lawrence in terms of the sushi itself. We have to stop ordering "best friends" since we always anticipate it to come wrapped in avocado due to the tiny misleading pictures on their menu but instead it comes with cabbage around it (or something green and leafy and tasteless). But the drinks were good, the conversation was fun, and the bokeh was a blast!
